UFC on ESPN+ 17: Marco Polo Reyes vs. Kyle Nelson added

The UFC announced on Saturday the addition of featherweights Marco Polo Reyes (8-6-0) and Kyle Nelson (12-3-0) to Mexico City’s UFC on ESPN+ 17 card in September.

Reyes, 34, will have the home field advantage. The exciting TUFLA 2 alum needs a win badly as he has three losses in his past four bouts, all by TKO. His last fight was a loss to Drew Dober at UFC on ESPN+ 9 in June. He is dropping down to featherweight to meet Nelson.

Nelson, 28, is in the same position as Nelson, but trying to snap a two fight octagon skid. The Huntsville, Ontario native tapped to Matt Sayles at UFC on ESPN 3 in May.

UFC on ESPN+ 17 is scheduled for Sept. 21 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico Arena in Mexico City, Mexico. Announced bouts include:

Carla Esparza (14-6-0) vs. Alexa Grasso (11-2-0)

Yair Rodriguez (11-2-0) vs. Jeremy Stephens (28-16-0)

Marco Polo Reyes (8-6-0) vs. Kyle Nelson (12-3-0)

Sergio Pettis (17-5-0) vs. Alex Perez (22-5-0)

Sijara Eubanks (4-3-0) vs. Bethe Correia (10-4-1)

Brandon Moreno (15-5-0) vs. Askar Askarov (10-0-0)

Angela Hill (9-7-0) vs. Istela Nunes (6-1-0)

Jose Quinonez (7-3-0) vs. Carlos Huachin (10-4-0)

Marion Reneau (9-5-0) vs. Irene Aldana (10-5-0)

Paul Craig (11-4-0) vs. Vinicius Moreira (9-3-0)

Martin Bravo (11-2-0) vs. Steven Peterson (17-9-0)

More bouts are expected to be announced.
