The UFC confirmed Tuesday that Canadian featherweight Hakeem Dawodu (10-1-1) will face Dana White Contender Series (DWCS) alum Julio Arce (16-3-0) at Madison Square Garden’s UFC 244 card in November.
Dawodu, 28, lost his debut contest in the octagon but is now currently enjoying a three fight win streak. The Calgary native finished Yoshinori Horie in his last bout at UFC 240 in July.
Meanwhile, Arce, 29, bounced back from a tough split-decision loss to Sheymon Moraes at UFC 230 to knock out Julian Erosa at UFC on ESPN+ 10 in May. He is 3-1-0 in the UFC.
UFC 244 is scheduled for Nov. 2 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York. Confirmed bouts include:
