Canelo vs. Kovalev press conference set for Los Angeles Sept. 18

WBO light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev (34-3-1, 28 KOs) and and WBC middleweight champion challenger Canelo Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs) will appear Wednesday afternoon at the Union Station in Los Angeles for a press conference.

Along with Kovalev and Alvarez, the presser will feature trainers Buddy McGirt (Kovalev) and Eddy Reynoso (Alvarez), Kovalev’s manager Elis Klimas, Goldenboy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya, Goldenboy business partner Bernard Hopkins, Main Events CEO Kathy Duva, and DAZN  executive vice president Joseph Markowski.

The doors open at 3:00 p.m. PT  with the conference starting at 5:00 p.m. PT. Union Station is located at 800 N Alameda St, Los Angeles, CA, 90012.

The fight is scheduled for Nov. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Sept. 18 for $1,754, $1,254, $854, $654, $404 and $204, not including applicable service charges and taxes.
