WMMAA Junior and Senior World Championships head to Bahrain in November

464 athletes will compete

Amateur male and female MMA teams from around the world will compete in Bahrain for the World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) World Championships in November.

The Bahrain MMA Federation (BMMAF) is hosting the tournament (with support from the Bahrain Olympic Committee), which will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town from Nov. 11 – Nov. 16. The tournament will feature 18 to 20 year olds in the junior division along with the senior division. 49 nations will compete overall under unified amateur MMA rules.

125 junior competitors and 339 senior competitors will compete overall. The Finals will be held on Nov. 16.

The tournament will be streamed internationally at IMMAF.TV. The tournament is free to attend.
