Despite some concern for Jedrzejczyk, beforehand, she made weight as did Michelle, Mackenzie Dern, and everyone else.
Kenai Andrews checks in with his thoughts on the main card.
ERYK ANDERS (12-4-0) VS. GERALD MEERSCHAERT (30-11-0)
Andrews: Anders is still primarily a knockout artist. If he doesn’t get it though, then he is trouble. I like Gerald’s ability to get the submission, thought he has been tapped a lot in his losses too. But he should be prepared to outsmart Anders for the win.
Andrews Prediction: Gerald Meerschaert via submission
MATT FREVOLA (7-1-1) VS. LUIS PENA (7-1-0)
Andrews: Frevola has done well coming from DWCS, but I think Pena has his coming out moment tonight.
Andrews Prediction: Luis Pena via TKO
MACKENZIE DERN (7-0-0) VS. AMANDA RIBAS (7-1-0)
Andrews: This is a good test for Dern, who hasn’t fought in over a year, so I expect some rust before finally getting Ribas to the mat for the tap.
Andrews Prediction: Mackenzie Dern via submission
NIKO PRICE (13-3-0) VS. JAMES VICK (13-4-0)
Andrews: Vick needs a win badly but his style is suited for a Price counterstrike or opening that puts him down.
Andrews Prediction: Niko Price via TKO
CUB SWANSON (25-11-0) VS. KRON GRACIE (5-0-0)
Andrews: Swanson is great on the feet but despite needing a win badly and having face a lot of killers on the ground, I don’t think he has enough to keep Gracie from getting the tap unless he catches him with a good shot early.
Andrews Prediction: Kron Gracie via submission
JOANNA JEDRZEJCZYK (15-3-0) VS. MICHELLE WATERSON (17-6-0)
Andrews: If Joanna came prepared, she should be able to wear down Waterson after a few rounds and get the decision.
Andrews Prediction: Joanna Jedrzejczyk via UD
