Former UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (28-5-0) will drop to 135 pounds when he faces No. 1 Marlon Moraes (22-6-1) at December’s UFC 245.
Aldo, 33, defended the featherweight crown seven times from April 2011 – December 2015 but fell short twice trying to recapture it from current champ Max Holloway in 2017. He should have an easier time of making weight for the contest.
Meanwhile, Moraes, 31, lost to bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo at UFC 238 in June, snapping a four fight win streak.
