The UFC announced during UFC 245 several bouts for the UFC on ESPN+ 29 and UFC 246 events.
On key bout features the return of former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt (11-3-0), who will take on No. 5 Raphael Assuncao (27-7-0) in Columbus.
After losing the bantamweight belt to T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 227 in August 2018, Garbrandt took some time off and returned in March at UFC 235, losing to Pedro Munhoz. “No Love” has lost three straight and needs a good win badly, although he probably not yet in danger of being on the bubble.
After I’m done with Raphael. I’ll come to Moscow 🇷🇺 to fight Peter!!! I love the Russians ❤️💪🏼💪🏼 https://t.co/Z6VG1kCFCE

Meanwhile, Assuncao, 37, has lost two straight contests. The years of being a constant contender may now be wearing on the Brazilian as he ages.
