UFC 249: Uriah Hall vs. Jacare added

Both fighters need a win to push through in 2020

The UFC confirmed on Dec. 27 that middleweights Uriah Hall (15-9-0) and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (26-8-0, 1NC) will collide at Brooklyn’s UFC 249 in April.

It’s been an average year for the 35-year-old “Primetime.” He fought only once, but it was a tough split-decision victory over Antonio Carlos Jr. at UFC on ESPN+ 16 in April. It adds up to a current two fight winning streak.

2019 is probably a year “Jacare” will want to forget. He dropped two decisions to Jan Blachowicz in November and Jack Hermansson in April and has lost three of his last four bouts. One can be sure that the 40-year-old Brazilian wants to return to the win column impressively in Brooklyn.

UFC 249 is scheduled for April 18 at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York. Current scheduled bouts are:

Uriah Hall (15-9-0) vs. Ronaldo Souza (26-8-0, 1NC)

Khabib Nurmagomedov (28-0-0) vs. Tony Ferguson (25-3-0)

More bouts are expected to be announced.
