The UFC confirmed on Dec. 28 that heavyweight prospects Greg Hardy (5-2-0, 1NC) and Yorgan de Castro (6-0-0) will battle at March 2020’s UFC on ESPN 8 event in Columbus.
Hardy is trying to shake off a tough but competitive loss to Alexander Volkov in his last bout at UFC on ESPN+ 21 in November. He fought a whopping five times in the year, going 2-2-0 with one no-contest, but some carelessness cost him some precious wins.

Fans will remember having his win over Ben Solsoli at UFC on ESPN 6 in October overturned after using an inhaler between rounds and the illegal knee that disqualified him against Allen Crowde at UFC on ESPN+ 1 in January.
Like Hardy, de Castro is a Dana White Contender Series up-and-comer, who starched Justin Tafa in his debut at UFC 243 in October.

The undefeated Cape Verdan has five finishes in his six victories and although he will be giving up height in the bout, is no stranger to fighting taller opponents.
