Fedor Emelianenko (39-6-0) scored a quick knockout victory over Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (38-14-0) at Bellator 237 Saturday night in Saitama Japan.
Jackson, 41, was moving up from light heavyweight, weighing in at 265 pounds, but it didn’t take long for the extra weight to impact the bout. Fedor was quicker and used strikes to outmaneuver the slower Jackson at almost every turn. Finally, a right hand sent Jackson collapsing to the canvas where referee Kevin MacDonald called the bout at 2:44 of the first frame.

Fans took to social media to criticize Rampage and to his credit, the former UFC light heavyweight champion admitted to his lacklustre performance online.
Meanwhile, Fedor, 43, said in post-fight interviews he will fight twice more before hanging up the gloves for good. He is 3-2-0 in Bellator since joining in 2017.
