Ribas (8-1-0), 25, stole Mackenzie Dern’s fire back in October, taking an upset unanimous decision win at UFC on ESPN+ 19. She will have another opportunity to do the same in Brasilia.

VanZant (8-4-0) is currently unranked in the division. The 25-year-old veteran has been in the UFC for five years, and has successfully crossed over into the entertainment world. Understandably, she is looking to cash in with the UFC as well since this is the last fight on her contract.
It’s no secret that VanZant’s crossover success has made her a target.
“12 Gauge” snapped a two fight losing skid in her lone fight in 2019, a submission win over Rachael Ostovich at UFC on ESPN+ 1 in January.
UFC on ESPN+ 28 is scheduled for Mar. 14 at the Ginasio Nilson Nelson Arena in Brasilia, Brazil. Current bouts include:

Veronica Macedo (6-3-1) vs. Bea Malecki (3-0-0)
Jeff Hughes (10-3-0) vs. Carlos Felipe (8-0-0)
Maryna Moroz (9-3-0) vs. Mayra Bueno Silva (5-0-0)
