“Since we had to cancel our USA theatrical tour this spring, we realize that an online event also gives us a unique chance to fundraise helping #Bokator clubs in #Cambodia survive the #COVID19 pandemic,” a statement on the documentary’s Facebook page explained.

“To help get people through these difficult times of social isolation during the Khmer New Year and Easter season, we are responding to requests to make Surviving Bokator available for viewing at home and on mobile devices.

The documentary was initially viewable until April 30, but an announcement April 23 extended the date until May 18.

The link is currently limited to viewers from the United States, but the trailer can be watched here.

A special live question and answer session with director Mark Bochsler and special guests on a date to be determined are also planned.
