Dustin Poirier’s The Good Fight Foundation charity is bringing the fight for a good meal to the medical staff in his hometown of Lafayette, La.
The foundation announced in a tweet intentions to donate 1,000 meals on Easter Sunday to the workers on the front lines in the town’s hospitals battling the COVID-19 pandemic, in conjunction with Deanos Pizza.

According to an MMA Junkie report, Poirier was scheduled to meet Australian Dan Hooker on the UFC’s May 16 card, but the fight may be postponed as the UFC has suspended its last four cards due to the pandemic and travel restrictions imposed by many jurisdictions.
The Good Fight Foundation is a non-profit charity established by Poirier and his wife Jolie in 2017 and officially registered in 2018.
The charity’s next goal is to provide 100 rear facing car seats to the local Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.
