The UFC confirmed Friday that female strawweights No.6 Claudia Gadelha (17-4-0) and Angela Hill (12-7-0) will co-main Florida’s May 16 event.
Gadelha, 31, is trying to build on a decision win over Randa Markos in her last bout at UFC 239 in July. The Brazilian, who challenged Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the strawweight title in 2016, has split her last four fights.

Meanwhile, only the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped Hill’s three-fight win streak momentum. Her last win was a short notice unanimous decision nod over Loma Lookboonmee at UFC on ESPN+ 26 in February. Hill, who is known for her striking, will likely have her ground game tested by Gadelha.
