Bryan Caraway launches GoFundMe campaign to help defray mother’s funeral expenses

"I just want her to have the best memorial and celebrate her life."

Former UFC vet Bryan Caraway (22-9-0) is reaching out to the MMA community.

Caraway, 35, recently launched a GoFundMe account with a goal of USD $12,000 to appeal for donations to help with funeral expenses for his mother. He explained on social media that the increased expenses, combined with the COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on his finances.

Caraway is known by fight fans for his 10-fight run in the UFC from December 2011 to November 2018, going 6-4-0. A former relationship with former UFC women’s bantamweight Miesha Tate also put him in the spotlight.

His last bout was a decision win in China in July 2019 for Battlefield FC.

As of this writing, over USD $8,400 has been contributed.
