Boston Salmon slowly recuperating from illegal knee at LFA 84

Former UFC fighter Boston Salmon (7-3-0) is still a long way from recovering from a July 10 illegal knee during a fight at LFA 84 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Solomon’s manger, Brian Butler of SuckerPunch Entertainment posted a disconcerting photo of Solomon’s eye today on Instagram. According to Butler, Solomon, 29, suffered a broken orbital and cheek bone from opponent Shawn West at 53 seconds of the second round.

Butler also implored the commission in South Dakota to take appropriate steps to deter similar situations from happening again.

Salmon thanked the fans on Instagram for the concern about his health, reassuring them he will be back.
