ONE: No Surrender: Jitmuangnon defends flyweight Muay Thai belt by majority decision over Petchdam

ONE Muay Thai flyweight champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon overcame a fast start by challenger Petchdam Petchyindee Academy to earn a majority decision in the main event of ONE: No Surrender in Bangkok, Thailand.

Jitmuangnon overcame some spirited striking of Petchdam in the early rounds to forward pressure the challenger in the championship rounds, doing just enough to earn the victory from two of the three judges.

Stamp Fairtex (5-0-0), ONE female atomweight Muay Thai champion and Jituangnon’s girlfriend, was also victorious, earning a first round stoppage of Sunisa Srisen (3-1-0) in am atomweight mixed martial arts contest. Fairtex softened up Srisen with some knees, then took advantage of a takedown attempt to secure the back and reign down punches that forced referee Nick Champman to halt the bout at 3:59.
