Valerie Loureda’s journey to the flyweight title will continue with Bellator.
The 22-year-old Taekwondo prospect who trains with American Top Team in Florida, shared her excitement by releasing a Twitter video.
“I am pleased to have re-signed with Bellator,” Loureda (3-0-0) said in a Bellator press release. “As I have always said, I am here to prove to the world the true martial artist that I am and chase the flyweight belt. I was born for this, I am a natural born fighter.”

Loureda recently earned her third win with a TKO stoppage of Tara Graff at Bellator 243. While a title shot with champion Ilima-Lei MacFarlane seems far away at this point, she now has the contract to work her way there.
