Ryan Bader’s reign as the dual light heavyweight and heavyweight champion came to a crashing halt at Bellator 244 Friday night in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Russian Vadim Nemkov (13-2-0) used a head kick to send Bader (27-6-0) crashing to the canvas and then used follow up ground strikes to secure a punishing second round victory 3:02 into Round 2. He remains undefeated in five fights in the Bellator cage.
