At UFC 260 in March, Francis Ngannou will try to even the score with heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
The UFC confirmed the rematch title bout during the UFC 257 event on Jan. 23.
Miocic (20-3-0) defeated Ngannou (15-3-0) in a clear unanimous decision back at UFC 220 in January 2018. Ngannou quickly gassed in that encounter, allowing Miocic to coast to the victory. But with impressive wins over Curtis Blaydes, Cain Velasquez, Junior dos Santos, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Ngannou is looking for a different result on Mar. 27.
Miocic, 38, has not defended the belt since defeating former champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 252 last August.
UFC 260 is scheduled for Mar. 27 at a venue to be determined. The main prelims are expected to air on ESPN and livestream on ESPN+. The main card is expected to air on -ESPN+ pay-per-view.
