ONE Championship women’s atomweight world grand prix tournament kicks off May 28

Who will reign supreme to challenge 'Unstoppable?'

The question of the next challenger for ONE Championship women’s atomweight champion Angela Lee will be answered on May 28.

Announced by ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong Wednesday, the women’s atomweight world grand prix tournament will feature most of the ranked atomweights, plus some former UFC competitors battling for the right to face Lee in November.

Lee, 24, is currently expecting the birth of her second child in April 2021. She has been the champion since May 2016 and has defended it four times.

The list of competitors is currently:

Alyse Anderson (5-1)

Itsuki Hirata (7-0)

Denice Zamboanga (8-0)

Alyona Rassohyna (13-4)

Ritu Phogat (4-0)

Seo Hee Ham (23-8)

Stamp Fairtex (5-1)

Meng Bo (17-5)

Tournament brackets and first round matchups are expected to be announced soon.
