The PFL is unveiling a new four-part documentary that focuses on UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture beginning March 20.
Announced Tuesday and produced by PFL Studios, The Randy Couture Story will focus on career highlights, including the latest chapter of his MMA career as a PFL commentator.
The first episode will air at 2:30 p.m. ET Saturday March 20, with the other three episodes available afterwards on-demand through ESPN+.
“It was a privilege for the PFL to produce ‘The Randy Couture Story’ as he is an MMA legend, a true champion and an incredible person who inspired so many, as viewers of this series on ESPN will see,” PFL CEO Peter Murray said in a press release. “Randy defined the sport of MMA, and we are proud to have him as part of the PFL family.”
“It’s an awesome feeling to have my own documentary series chronicling my journey as an MMA athlete and everything I’ve done outside of the cage,” Couture added. “The PFL is a global fighter-first organization and I wholeheartedly believe in the format and everything they are doing as a leader in the sport. I’ve been through so much in my life and I know how hard the PFL team has worked on this series. I can’t wait to watch it – it’s going to be special.”
The PFL’s 2021 season begins on April 23 on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and live streamed on ESPN+ in primetime. The regular season events are scheduled for April 29, May 6, June 10, June 17, and June 25.
