The UFC confirmed that former champion T.J. Dillashaw will be eagerly welcomed by the No. 2 bantamweight Cory Sandhagen on ESPN+ 47 in May.
Dillashaw (16-4-0), 35, hasn’t fought since losing to Henry Cejudo in January 2019 for the flyweight title. He vacated the bantamweight title in March 2019, after testing positive in pre and post drug tests for EPO.
Meanwhile Sandhagen (14-2-0), 28, recently put away Frankie Edgar with a highlight reel flying knee in just 28 seconds at UFC Vegas 18 in February. He will have a 5-inch height advantage in the contest.
