UFC president Dana White revealed to ESPN earlier today that the rematch between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington is being targeted for November.
No date or venue was confirmed, but according to anonymous UFC sources, Nov. 6 is the working date and New York’s Madison Square Garden is the working venue for UFC 268.
Usman (19-1-0), 34, defeated Covington memorably at UFC 245 in December 2019. Since then he has defended the title three times, twice against Jorge Masvidal and once against training partner Gilbert Burns.

As most fans know, there is some serious bad blood between these two.
Kamaru Usman 🆚 Colby Covington was a fantastic fight that gave us great moments from both champion and contender
Usman 🆚 Colby 2 will probably be better with a real story line behind it.
Super stoked for that fight pic.twitter.com/2TGCvUwTk0

Covington, (16-2-0), 33, currently ranked No.1, defeated former champion Tyron Woodley at UFC Vegas 11 last September. He has continued his social media assault on Usman and several other fighters as illustrated in the following tweet.
The guy wearing full nerf gear head to toe to protect his face and his feelings is Poirier. The guy with no headgear, wrestling credentials or brain cells left is “khabib.” @DustinPoirier Good guy? Bad guy? You be the judge👨⚖️ #AndNew #UFC264 pic.twitter.com/EMMFwC2b4E
