Halle Berry’s MMA movie Bruised set to debut on Netflix in November

Bruised, the MMA movie which stars Halle Berry, will be coming to Netflix on November 24.

Berry also makes her directorial debut in the film, which also stars UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko, Shamir Anderson, Adan Canto, Sheila Atim, and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

“This project is so special to me, not only because it’s my directorial debut, but because the fight game, especially MMA, is a sport that I absolutely love,” Berry said in a recent tweet.

Bruised debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2020.

Berry is currently embroiled in a lawsuit by MMA fighter Cat Zingano, who alleges that Berry reneged on a promised movie role in the film.

The allegations have not yet been proven in court.
