Canadian online video platform company Rumble announced a partnership with UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal Friday.
Rumble will exclusively host Masivdal’s livestreams and videos beginning with a livestream right after the Triller Fight Club pay-per-view event tonight featuring Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort on Sept. 12.
“Adding exclusive livestreams and video opportunities for Masvidal is another example of Rumble’s commitment to bringing in creators from all walks of life,” Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski said in a press release. ” Masvidal is a tenacious fighter who has overcome adversity while standing up to bullies. His livestreams on Rumble will allow our viewers to get to know more about him and his story.”
“I am extremely excited about this opportunity”, Masvidal added. “I have fought against the top of the food chain my whole life, so I know what Rumble has faced battling Big Tech companies like YouTube. I am ready to produce content on Rumble and say what I think without worrying about being censored or canceled.”
Founded in 2013, Rumble is privately owned and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. As of August 2021, they claim over 40 million monthly users.
