Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is in hot water again with the law.
According to a report from ESPN, Jones, 34, was arrested early Friday morning at 5:45 a.m. local time and charged with misdemeanor domestic violence and injuring or tampering with a vehicle.
Bail has been set at $8,000 USD with Jones being placed on a 12-hour hold. He will appear in the Las Vegas Justice Court Saturday at 1:30 p.m. local time.
The UFC 165 fight between Jones and Alexander Gustafsson was inducted into the 2020 class of the UFC Hall of Fame Friday. He relinquished the light heavyweight belt in 2020 and moved up to the heavyweight division.
Jones was previously involved in a 2012 hit-and-run incident and two failed drug tests.
