UFC president Dana White took a moment Tuesday evening to chime in on the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder boxing trilogy.
At the Dana White Contender Series (DWCS) post-fight press conference, White took a few beats to consider his pick.
“I just think Fury’s just too good,” White said. “I think Fury’s got that number.”
Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs), 33, is the reigning WBC champion who knocked out Wilder in the February 2020 rematch. However, he has been dogged by accusations of glove tampering which he has denied.
Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) is the former champion whose 43-fight unbeaten streak was snapped by Fury.
The fight is scheduled for Oct. 9 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and air on pay-per-view.
