UFC on ESPN 31: COVID-19 forces Matt Brown to pull out of bout with Bryan Barberena

"I'll get over it quickly and go from there"

The coronavirus has struck again, this time on December’s UFC on ESPN 31 matchup with Matt Brown and Bryan Barberena.

Brown (23-18-0), 40, tweeted that a positive COVID-19 test has forced his exit from the card.

It is uncertain at this time if Barberena (15-8-0), 32, will also leave or if the UFC will find a replacement.

UFC on ESPN 31 is scheduled for Dec. 4 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Current bouts include:
