Happy Holidays 2021: Eli Jane, Dakota House, Dastan Khalili share good wishes, 2022 goals

"Santa delivers once again"

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas from us here at MMA Crossfire.

Crossfire Vault – Happy Holidays

It’s been another tough year for many of us but if you’re reading this, you can pat yourself on the back for making it through. The hard reality is that 2022 will be what we make of it.

Let’s stay safe during these holidays and into the new year.

So, we reached out to some personalities who shared some thoughts to send us into the new year.

Here we go.

Jane was involved in several projects in 2021. The Gingerweed Man, Donde Estabas Tu, and Ravishing all released this year with The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, and Kill Box currently in post-production for 2022.

But we want to focus on The Way, which we covered in November. As Eli mentioned, it will release on Apple TV and other digital platforms on Jan. 4, and we think it’s a great way to spend some cold (or warm) winter nights.

Dakota is best known for his role as the rebellious teen “Tee Vee Tenia” on the groundbreaking Canadian show North of 60. Currently residing in the Edmonton area of Alberta, Canada, he is the CEO of Going M.I.L.E.S., an organization he created that is dedicated to helping build and mentor indigenous youth thorough the primary tools of workshops, professional development, and entrepreneurship.

It was a particularly tough year for Canada’s indigenous community, who made worldwide headlines with several mass burial sites discovered on former residential schools. In addition to House’s organization, those looking for detailed information for surviving family members can check out this online resource, courtesy of the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre (IRSHDC) at the University of British Columbia.

On a more positive note, House has a background in martial arts, which we hope to explore in 2022. Stay tuned.

Dastan is the director of The Way. He sent us greetings from Yosemite National Park, located in California’s Sierra Mountains. Isn’t that background just beautiful?

We’d like to thank Eli, Dastan, and Dakota for sharing some time with the MMA Crossfire Nation and hope you all are staying safe and having good times with your families and circle.

Let’s continue to stay safe and enjoy the fights!
