An injury to former champion Max Holloway has thrown UFC 272 into uncertainty, but former champion Henry Cejudo is offering to save the day.
According to ESPN, Holloway aggravated a previous injury and is out. The UFC has not yet confirmed Holloway’s injury or possible replacement, but that isn’t stopping Cejudo from offering his services.

Volkanovski (23-1-0), 33, is coming off an impressive victory over Brian Ortega at UFC 266 last September. Holloway will be his third title defence. He is No. 2 on the UFC’s P4P list.
Cejudo (16-2-0), 34, previously became one of only four UFC champ-champs when he won the flyweight and bantamweight belts back in 2019. He is also the only fighter to win an Olympic gold medal and a UFC title.
We’ll have to wait and see how this plays out.
