Invicta FC 45: Jessica Delboni stiff arms Alesha Zappitella to win atomweight title

Perhaps new Invicta FC atomweight champion Jessica Delboni took the results of the first fight with Alesha Zappitella personally.

Delboni (12-3-0), who lost a split-decision to Zappitella last May that many fans thought she won, overcame the ground and grappling game of Zappitella (9-3-0) to leave no doubt this time at Invicta FC 45 Wednesday night at the Police Athletic League in Kansas City.

Delboni put together four rounds of striking to take a 50-45, 50-45, and 49-46 unanimous decision victory in the main event of Invicta FC 45.
