Dana White reveals UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman recovering from hand surgery

UFC president Dana White lent a hand on Instagram to share some fascinating photos of welterweight champion Kamaru Usman’s recent surgery.

Usman broke his right hand three weeks before going on to decision Colby Covington at UFC 268. But it appears now that he is recovering from the surgery to repair the ligaments in his hand.

According to a tweet from ESPN, manager Abi Abdelaziz said Usman should be ready for action by International Fight Week in July. That means Usman could be potentially fight on the UFC 276 card, which is scheduled for July 2.
