Dana White hints Toronto could be on the UFC’s radar later this year

"If we end up in Toronto, it could be later in the Fall ..."

The UFC is looking to get back on track on the road and Toronto is on one of the cities it is looking to visit this year.

Speaking at the UFC 273 post-fight press conference, Dana White confirmed to reporters that besides Florida and Texas, the UFC is looking to rekindle its event schedule as more cities open up and relax COVID-19 restrictions.

“We’re going to go everywhere,” White said to reporters. “… We’re talking about possibly Boston, back to New York again. We’re looking at Austin. That’s Texas, though. They don’t want to hear Texas. They want to hear another state. They’re tired of Texas and Florida. Salt Lake City, Utah. That’s right, Salt Lake. Seattle, we were looking at Toronto.”

White did not commit to a Toronto show, but did indicate that if it did happen, it would likely happen later this year in Autumn.

The UFC has visited Toronto five times previously: UFC 129, UFC 140, UFC 152, UFC 165, UFC 206, and UFC 231 in December 2018, where Max Holloway and Brian Ortega fought in the main event.
