UFC flyweight Jake Hadley itching for quick return after debut octagon loss

"Losses are apart of life and I've lost before but always learnt from it ..."

It was a tough UFC debut for Jake Hadley at UFC Vegas 54, but he’s ready to go again.

Hadley (8-1-0), 25, suffered his first loss to Charles Oliveira protege Allan Nascimento (19-6-0), 30, at UFC Vegas 54 last Saturday at the UFC Apex.

It was a convincing unanimous decision that saw Hadley largely unable to neutralize the grappling and ground game of Nascimento.

At one time, the man known as “White Kong” wondered very loudly why he wasn’t in the UFC. Then, after an impressive performance on the Dana White Contender Series and a bit of good fortune from president Dana White, achieved his octagon dream from across the pond in the U.K.

Hadley again took to Instagram to acknowledge the defeat and plant some seeds for a quick return.

Unfortunately lost my UFC debut vs a very experienced opponent there’s a lot to learn from the fight and I will be putting things right in my preparation and in my game. losses are apart of life and I’ve lost before but always learnt from it and made myself better from it and this won’t be no different. let’s get me back in cage ASAP July London or August on usman vs edwards card. Thanks ufc for the opportunity and the fans for the love and the hate I’ll be back – JAKE HADLEY

Hadley is a confident and determined individual, who proudly showcased his Cagewarriors championship belt from his bedroom to The Crossfire in an episode of the show TKO Countdown.

It appears he will not let a defeat deter him from achieving octagon glory.
