2022 PFL 6: Kayla Harrison steamrolls over Kaitlin Young to qualify for playoffs

Defending PFL women’s lightweight champion Kayla Harrison’s quest for a third consecutive title is on target after PFL 6 Friday night in Atlanta.

Harrison (14-0-0) used her grappling once again to put Young (12-13-1) on the defensive early and then began ground and pound that forced referee Rob Hinds to call the contest after just 2:35 of the first frame.

Harrison earned six points for the finish and qualified for the playoffs, behind points leader Larissa Pacheo, who also earned six points for stopping Genah Fabian earlier in the night.

Meanwhile, two-time welterweight champion Ray Cooper III only needed 24 seconds to stop Brett Cooper, but was still eliminated from playoff contention with only five points on the season.
