Former UFC women’s strawweight Felice Herrig signs with BKFC

UFC strawweight Felice Herrig hung up her MMA gloves at UFC Vegas 56, but she now has a pair of BKFC gloves ready for action inside the ring.

Herrig (14-10-0), 37, will make her boxing debut with BKFC after president David Feldman announced her signing earlier today with a press release.

Herrig’s last MMA bout was a submission loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz but at the time, she hinted that she would likely explore combat sports and it appears BKFC is the one she is ready to explore.

Herrig joins some other colleagues such as Paige VanZant, Rachael Ostovich, Pearl Gonzalez, and Britain Hart who are competing in BKFC. It is not known yet who Herrig’s first opponent w
