After all of the buildup, Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury is off again, and perhaps for good.
The two boxers were scheduled to meet on Aug. 6 at the Madison Square Garden, but Paul tweeted on Wednesday that Fury has been replaced by a new opponent which he will announce shortly.
Fury’s received a termination notice. MVP did everything it could 2 help him & team. He wasn’t interested & he literally went into hiding.
2nd time in a row he has pulled out.
2nd time in a row I’m going to step up & take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG.

According to Sports Illustrated, Paul’s new opponent will be Hasim Rahman Jr. (12-1-0, 2 KOs), 31, who is coming off his first loss to James McKenzie Morrison in April.
Tyron Woodley was the last fighter to substitute on two weeks short notice for Fury’s first pullout.
