Watch: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer

The sequel to the Black Panther saga is set to hit theatres in November, but the trailer has bagged over 170 million views in the first 24 hours.

Released at Comic-Con on July 23, that means the number is over twice of the original movie’s trailer views back in 2018.

The soundtrack for the sequel was also released and it features Tem’s cover version of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” classic.

Lupita Nyong’o, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba Winston Duke and Angela Bassett are back reprising their roles, while joined by new stars Michaela Coel, Dominique Thorne, Alex Nivilani, and Mabel Cadena.

Chad Boseman, the star of the first film, passed away in August 2020 at 43 years old and this movie is considered a tribute to him.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther: Wakanda Forvever is set to release on Nov. 11.
