UFC Vegas 60: Aspen Ladd vs. Sara McMann cancelled due to weight miss

UFC bantamweight Aspen Ladd has missed weight again.

Ladd (9-3-0) came in two pounds heavy in her bout against McMann (13-6-0), which forced officials to cancel the bout a day before the event at The Apex in Las Vegas.

In the past, Ladd has missed weight several times. A bout in September 2018 with Leslie Smith was canceled, as well as in October 2021’s bout with Macy Chiasson. ¬†She barely made weight in July 2019 against Germaine de Randamie, looking visibly weakened and trembling on the scale.

Ladd has competed at 145 pounds, losing to Norma Dumont before coming back down to bantamweight.

The cancellation is the third consecutive one for the fight. Ladd was injured for the first attempt and pulled out in August with COVID-19 for the second rescheduling.
