Former UFC lightweight champion and ONE Championship competitor Eddie Alvarez is a free agent again.
Alvarez (30-8-0, 2NC), 38, a former Bellator lightweight champion as well, left the UFC in July of 2018 to sign with ONE Championship three months later in October. He was featured in the ONE on TNT American event in 2021, appearing in the first and fourth series, where he was initially disqualified in a ONE on TNT I bout with Luri Lapicus (later overturned to a no-contest), and then in his last fight, lost a decision to OK Rae Yoon at ONE on TNT IV in April 2021.
